Over the last decade, exponential advances in the technologies and informatics tools has allowed for generating and processing of large biological data (omics data) These omics data include not only genomics, transcriptomics, proteinomics, but also metabolomics, epigenomics and pharmacogenomics. In this webinar we will focus on genomics, summarizing how the data are generated, analyzed and shared, and provide an overview of the strengths and weaknesses of this global approach.
