On Wed, March 10th we held a virtual roundtable discussion entitled “Reproductive Health and Lung Diseases – A Discussion with PCD and LAM Experts.” This event was hosted by the American Thoracic Society (ATS) was presented as part of the “Lung Disease Week at the ATS” initiative – a program designed to facilitate information exchange between patients and experts on matters relating to lung and airway disorders. This roundtable discussion was a collaborative effort between the ATS Public Advisory Roundtable (PAR), the LAM Foundation and the Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia Foundation.
The panel includes LAM expert Nishant Gupta, MD of the University of Cincinnati and PCD expert Deepika Polineni, MD, MPH of the University of Kansas. Other discussants are Michele Manion, executive director of the PCD Foundation and Mary Harbaugh, emeritus board member of the LAM Foundation.
