On Thursday, September 9th we held a virtual roundtable discussion entitled “Pulmonary Fibrosis and Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome — Diagnosis, Treatment, and Management of Your Lung Fibrosis” This event hosted was by the American Thoracic Society (ATS) was presented as part of the “Lung Disease Week at the ATS” initiative – a program designed to facilitate information exchange between patients and experts on matters relating to lung and airway disorders.
This roundtable discussion was a collaborative effort between the ATS Public Advisory Roundtable (PAR), the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and the HPS Network.
The panel includes experts Lisa R. Young, MD of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Jonathan Kropski, MD of Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Other discussants are Jennifer Mefford, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships at the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and Donna Appell, Executive Director and Founder of the HPS Network.
