On Thursday, July 15th we held a virtual roundtable discussion entitled “Airway Disease in Cystic Fibrosis and Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia.” This event was hosted by the American Thoracic Society (ATS) was presented as part of the “Lung Disease Week at the ATS” initiative – a program designed to facilitate information exchange between patients and experts on matters relating to lung and airway disorders.
This roundtable discussion was a collaborative effort between the ATS Public Advisory Roundtable (PAR), the Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia Foundation and the Cystic Fibrosis Research Institute.
The panel includes PCD expert Adam Shapiro, MD of the McGill University Health Centre, and CF expert Deepika Polineni, MD, MPH of the University of Kansas. Other discussants are Michele Manion, Executive Director of the PCD Foundation and Siri Vaeth, Executive Director of CFRI.
