There is an epidemic of vaping in the United States, especially among teenagers. Recently, there have been reports of vaping-induced lung injury, which the Centers for Disease Control is actively investigating. In this podcast, we will interview experts on how to take a detailed vaping history. We provide important questions to ask patients both in the outpatient and inpatient settings. Guests: Dr. Ilona Jaspers is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is an expert in inhalational toxicology. Dr. Sucharita Kher is a pulmonary/critical care physician at Tufts Medical Center and Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. She is the director of the adult pulmonary clinic and inpatient services in the Department of Medicine.
